Walmart Connect opens up to small and non-endemic advertisers

Walmart is broadening its ad division, Walmart Connect, to include small and non-traditional advertisers. The upgrade enables placing search ads using brand terms, measuring in-store sales from online ads, and broader access to shoppable advertising with Roku and TikTok.

The expansion comes after a prosperous year for Walmart’s ad division, which experienced a 28% revenue increase, amounting to $3.4 billion.
