The Google Ads team has announced version 16 of the Google Ads API, introducing significant updates, including new recommendation types and improved functionality.

Key highlights feature added recommendation types like MAXIMIZE_CONVERSION_VALUE_OPT_IN and CUSTOM_AUDIENCE_OPT_IN, a new RecommendationService.GenerateRecommendations() function, support time-related segments in asset_group, and enhance insights into ad serving status.

Additionally, version 16 introduces capabilities for advertiser verification, Demand Gen campaign enhancements, and a new experiment feature to synchronize changes with original campaigns. Updated client libraries and examples will be available soon to help developers transition to the latest version.
