Amazon enhances Auto Campaigns with keyword optimization

Amazon enhances Auto Campaigns with keyword optimization

Amazon has introduced a feature allowing advertisers to transfer high-performing search terms from Auto campaigns to Manual campaigns directly, facilitating better keyword strategy and bid management. This update, including the option to negate search terms in the original Auto campaign, reflects Amazon Ads' understanding of seller strategies, offering more control over advertising efforts.

This new feature lets you take well-performing search terms from your Auto campaigns and add them as a keyword to any manual campaign for this Asin.

Here's how it works:

  1. Go to the search Terms tab in your Auto campaign.
  2. Choose well-performing keywords, either by using your own filter or Amazon's "Suggested Keywords" filter.
  3. You'll have the option of selecting any ad group that features this Asin.
  4. Once you choose the ad group, you can add the keyword as Exact, Phrase, or Broad and set your bid.

Amazon now allows you to negate the search term in the original ad group. This can be a useful strategy for some sellers. The Amazon Ads team knows that some sellers will want to use it, while others won't, so they give us the option to do it.

This feature is available for Amazon Ads Partners.
